Before adopting Minga, Greer Lingle Middle School was juggling some serious challenges that made MTSS and student behavior management a real struggle. PrideTime, the school’s intervention period, wasn’t used efficiently—it became more of a free period than a targeted time for academic support, leading to disengaged students and wasted time. Between TikTok-inspired pranks (hello, open milk trick) and vandalism, the school had no way to effectively report students’ whereabouts.
