Minga ranks 15th on Canada’s 2026 Technology Fast 50 list of the country’s fastest-growing technology companies, ranked by four-year revenue growth.
Kelowna, BC, Oct 30, 2026 — Minga, the Kelowna, British Columbia-based Student Behavior & Engagement Platform for K-12 schools, has been recognized by the 2026 Technology Fast 50™ awards program. This year’s theme, Growth Built to Last, recognizes organizations that are driving sustainable growth, demonstrating resilience, and creating lasting impact in Canada’s technology sector.
The program ranks Canada’s 50 fastest-growing technology companies by revenue-growth percentage over the past four years. Minga ranks 15th out of 50, with 2,392% revenue growth from 2022 to 2025.
Minga CEO Jason Richards attributes the company’s growth to its single platform for K-12 schools, which brings hallway management, tardy management, positive behavior and rewards, FlexTime scheduling, digital student IDs, and school communication together in one place, and to the results schools report using it. “Every school we work with is trying to give educators more time with students and less time on logistics,” Richards said. “This recognition belongs to our team and to the 2,500+ schools that trust Minga to help them run safely, smoothly, and with purpose. We’re building for growth that lasts, and we’re just getting started.”
“The 2026 Technology Fast 50 winners exemplify the ingenuity, resilience, and ambition that continue to define Canada’s technology sector,” said Brendan Cooper, National Technology Fast 50 program co-leader. “We are proud to celebrate their achievements and recognize the meaningful impact they are making in communities and markets across the country.”
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50 ranking, companies must have been in business for at least four years, have a minimum revenue of $50,000 in 2022 and $5 million in 2025, be headquartered in Canada, own proprietary technology, and invest a minimum of 5% of gross revenues in R&D activities that are conducted in Canada.
“This year’s winners demonstrate what is possible when vision, talent, and innovation come together. They are tackling complex challenges, unlocking new opportunities, and fueling growth across Canada’s technology ecosystem,” said Amanda Perran, National Technology Fast 50 program co-leader. “Their success is inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs and helping to build a more connected, competitive, and innovative future for Canada.”
Winners include public and private companies in the technology sector. The program runs alongside the broader North American Technology Fast 500™, and winners are automatically eligible for that ranking. The Technology Fast 50 program describes itself as Canada’s pre-eminent technology awards program, recognizing business growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship in three categories: Technology Fast 50, Enterprise (Industry Leaders), and Companies-to-Watch. Program sponsors for 2026 include RBCx, NRF, TMX, EDC, CCI, Lafond and The Globe and Mail. For more information, visit www.fast50.ca.
