Minga has been named to Great Place to Work’s 2026 Best Workplaces in British Columbia list, based on direct employee feedback.
Kelowna, BC, Oct 28, 2026 — Minga, the Kelowna, British Columbia-based Student Behavior & Engagement Platform for K-12 schools, has been named to the 2026 Best Workplaces™ in British Columbia list by Great Place to Work®. According to Great Place to Work, Minga received the recognition after an independent analysis of employee feedback.
The list is based on direct feedback from employees at the hundreds of organizations Great Place to Work surveyed. To be eligible, organizations must be Great Place to Work-Certified™ and receive exceptionally high scores from employees on the Trust Index™ survey. The British Columbia list also requires a minimum number of employees based in B.C. and recognizes the province’s highest-scoring workplaces.
Minga says its culture is built on four values: Growth, Respect, Integrity, and Passion. According to the company, every employee receives an annual learning and development budget equal to 2% of salary, an Individual Development Plan, and access to clear career progression frameworks with promotion cycles twice a year. Health benefits, including mental health coverage, are 100% employer-paid from day one. Minga’s team includes more than 100 people across Canada and the U.S.
“Our name comes from a Quechua word for cooperative work in community toward a common goal,” said Jason Richards, CEO of Minga. “That’s how we want every person on our team to feel. This recognition comes straight from our employees, which makes it the one that means the most.”
Great Place to Work describes itself as the global authority on high-trust, high-performance workplace cultures.
