What customers are saying

Wallace Shearer
Assistant Principal,
Sunnyside High, WA, USA
“There were a lot of moving parts to keep track of. I had 2 employees who were spending up to 5 hours of work a week on putting out a list [for off-campus lunch] that I now spend 5 min on. They don’t even touch the list anymore.”

Jeff Bailey
Director of Instructional Technology,
West Catholic High, MI, USA
“It was the Wild West, kids were able to go and do whatever they wanted. Things we were still doing on paper didn’t make sense. It was very difficult to control certain behaviors — like what was going on in the bathroom or who was out in the hall at a specific time.”
FAQs on Digital Hall Passes
Never. Minga Hall passes only reports when a student checks out of class, and back in. We do not physically track students’ whereabouts, ever.
Both! We are compatible with all laptops, including Chromebooks, and we also offer a dedicated app available on both mobile phones and tablets through app stores.
No, they can use their 1-1 device like a chrome book or any computer or tablet.
No, as long as the hall pass has been approved you will be able to identify what hall pass has been created, how much time is left and which student it has been assigned too. This is all done through the dashboard.
If your school doesn’t have one-to-one devices, you can set up a laptop, Chromebook, or iPad at the front of the class. Students can log in to create their passes, or teachers can create them for the students as needed, depending on what is most convenient for your school.
Yes, it can! We offer a feature called the “no-party group.” This feature enables you to create groups of students who are not permitted to have a hall pass at the same time.
Funny you should ask. Check out how we compare to SmartPass and e-hallpass.
